I have been a HUGE fan of Michelle’s work for a LONG time now.  She has become such a great friend and I’m SO thrilled to be hosting this workshop for her! WHAT a little cutie!  I had a serious case of baby fever after little Emma left the studio today.  Can you blame me?  Look at this perfect baby girl.  It has been so awesome to see this family grow to what it is today.  I first photographed them last year for their engagement session, then their beautiful wedding, followed by their maternity session, and now Emma’s shoot today!  I have LOVED watching this family grow and look forward to MANY more sessions to come!

Holy cow it was cold yesterday.  We braved the cold and one really awful man (who yelled at us for being on his land) and went out and had a good time.  Jamie and I have known each other since high school but not until good old facebook did we reconnect!  It was fun catching up and her and meeting her sweet husband.   Chris was such a good sport.  There was no question that on his Sunday off he would have rathered been in their warm house watching football, NOT running around taking pictures.  The things a man does when he LOVES a woman:)

If you have been watching my blog for awhile now, you might recognize this couple!  Just last year I had the honor of photographing their engagement and wedding.  Now they are starting a new chapter in their lives together because next month they will be welcoming their baby GIRL!  I remember talking to Tyler WAY back last year about starting a family and he just couldn’t wait!  ALL he wanted was a little girl!  It was pretty cute because more times then not I hear the fathers say how much they want a son!  I know for a fact that this little girl will be WELL loved and will be a daddy’s girl.  Tyler wouldn’t have it any other way!!!

Man I LOVE this time of year.  I get a chance to have all my good friends in front of my camera.  Christy was the VERY first friend that I made when I moved to Santa Rosa and after 10 years here our friendship is stronger then ever.  I have watched this family go from a quite household of two to a crazy, busy family of four.  Christy has always been my go-to person for everything from relationships, to babies and everyday stress (it also helps that she is a licensed therapist)! I LOVE our friendship and hold it close to my heart.

After this family session I had tonight I went home and told my husband that this is going to be us in 10 years.  Man do we have our work cut out for us.  I’m only hoping that our girls turn out as awesome as these two!  Their mom is Carley (our youngest daughters) preschool teacher.  It was great to finally meet her family and get to know them, since she already knows ours so well.

I had a blast and I’m looking forward to taking Annie their oldest on some shoots with me (she’s REALLY into photography also)! Can’t Wait:)

Oh how I LOVE these guys.  Not only is this hot momma my bestfriend, she is also my beautiful sister.  It has been awhile since the two of us have been able to coordinate our busy schedule’s, but alas we did!

Last month was my niece’s birthday and for her BIG gift she got a puppy.  This little guy is very loved (sometimes to much) and my little niece is so great with him.  After their visit Cameran told me that she now wants a small dog like Max and not a big dog like Bella.  I had to tell her tough luck, there is no chance we are getting another dog.  I think she will be OK.

What a GREAT weekend.  First I got to see New Moon and then spent time with my sister.  Can’t beat that!

I first met Amanda a couple years back when I had asked her mom if Amanda was interested in babysitting for our two little girls.  We have had many different babysitters but Amanda is AWESOME!  She is the type that when you come home EVERYTHING in the house is cleaned, and the girls are hanging all over her and won’t let her go. Our family has just grown to LOVE her in every way.

It was a blast being able to spend the day together taking her senior photos (besides one really weird guy that spooked us both out) the day was perfect.  Here are some of the shoots from our day together….
