Apples ♥ Santa Rosa’s Family Photographer

Let me just start off by saying this will be a LONG post. I REALLY did try to cut the photos down to just a couple but couldn’t do it.

Some of you might recognize this location from previous sessions (its one of my favorites). WELL tonight I got to photograph the family who owns this beautiful property. I don’t exactly know how many acres they own but I do know there are vineyards, apple trees, tractors and lots more goodies for a photographer to enjoy. Not only are they the nicest people but I’m truly lucky to call them my friends!

Thomas & Shelby ♥ Santa Rosa’s Lifestyle Photographer

Last weekend I got to hang out with some of the best people. Thomas and Shelby got married back in June (just the two of them) and now we are having their post reception up here in beautiful Sonoma County. Their reception was held at the new Schulz Museum and was just a BLAST! I just LOVED seeing all of Charles Schulz’s Peanut carters brought to life. I can remember LOVING Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy and Linus when I was little! We even call our youngest daughter Linus because she’s always dragging her blanket behind her lol…

Thomas and Shelby have both always loved Charlie Brown so this was the perfect place to come and celebrate such an important celebration. Its undeniable the love these two have for each other. I also fell in love with both of their families, you couldn’t help but feel like you have known them for years!

One VERY cool thing that they had there was a caricaturist. Her name is Rhonda and she was GREAT!

I just LOVE Mendo ♥ Mendocino’s Senior Photographer

There is no place like home:) I LOVE LOVE LOVE to go back home as much as I can. I graduated from Mendocino High School 10 years ago and it is a really SMALL little town where everyone knows everyone. I can remember in high school getting pulled over for speeding and by the time I got home my mom had already heard about it. That’s how small this town is. I LOVED going to school there. SO when I got a call from Emily’s mom asking if I do senior pictures up in Mendocino I jumped all over it. I loved hearing about the new high school stories and how much things really haven’t changed in the 10 year since I graduated.

Emily is an AMAZING student, she plays three sports and is on the junior Olympic team with her horse Sam! Pretty cool right?!

I know I say this about every session but its true I had a BLAST doing this shoot!

Fell in LOVE with this Pic. ♥ Mendocino’s Senior Photographer

Yesterday I had a senior session up on the Mendocino coast. I’m going to post more photos from this session later today but when I saw this one I fell in LOVE and had to share right away. Doesn’t it look like Sam (the horse) is laughing when Emily is kissing him! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
