Where is the time going? Why can’t I just make time stand still just for a little longer? She is growing up way to fast and all I want to do is just hold on to these special moments. Right now every boo boo and awie can be fixed with a princess bandage and kiss. I love that she is still young enough where I can fix ALL her problem.

She has my heart!

I just have to share something that’s been on my mind lately. I feel like in this super competitive world of photography, there needs to be more thank you’s. Every photography started out wanting to learn and know more about their craft, and looking for someone to answer their questions and help. We all have our little secret ways of editing, and ways of using our camera, and some seasoned photographers(and thank GOD for them) are willing to share to make others become better. So I guess that is my long lead in to wanting to thank Michelle Kane, who has been such a wonderful mentor and sincere friend to me. I only met her five months ago, when I found her blog post about a preschool session(I was about to photograph 60 preschoolers)and I contacted her…. and the rest is history. Her Wine Country Workshop is going to be a smashing success here in Sonoma County, and I do not tell her thank you enough for all that she has done for me professionally and personally! You ROCK Michelle, and I can not wait until June to see you again!

We are back in business!!

I don’t even think I can express the JOY I am feeling with having this blog back up and running again! I feel like it has been a lifetime since I have posted, and it has not been because I haven’t wanted to, or did not have plenty to share, but because of “blog-technical malfunction” Don’t quote me on that being the correct term, but you get the idea. After lots of hard work from Jeff at Big Folio(THANK YOU JEFF!!), we are back in business! I have tons to post, including irresistible newborns, gorgeous maternity shots, and lots, lots more. If you could hear me saying these words as I type, you would really understand the excitement I feeling with this blog being BACK!!! Ohhhh, and stay tuned for some shots of my new studio. Thanks for hanging with me, and not giving up on me! Check back soon everyone!

And just because I don’t want to post without a photo here is one of the newborns I will be blogging about soon…

Oh how I LOVE these guys. Not only is this hot momma my bestfriend, she is also my beautiful sister. It has been awhile since the two of us have been able to coordinate our busy schedule’s, but alas we did!

Last month was my niece’s birthday and for her BIG gift she got a puppy. This little guy is very loved (sometimes to much) and my little niece is so great with him. After their visit Cameran told me that she now wants a small dog like Max and not a big dog like Bella. I had to tell her tough luck, there is no chance we are getting another dog. I think she will be OK.

What a GREAT weekend. First I got to see New Moon and then spent time with my sister. Can’t beat that!

This past weekend the family and I took a 13 hour trip to Utah for some family pictures! Most of you would think that’s CRAZY to travel that long for photos but NOT ME! Aside from Carley’s Nevada melt down the trip was a blast! When I asked the girls on the way home what their favorite part about our vacation was they said taking pictures with Jess!! Cute right:)

Well she JUST put up our sneak peek on her blog and they are beautiful! Thank you so much Jess. I can’t wait to see the rest!
