I am usually super nervous about doing a large family shoot due to chaos that can be present when you have HUGE group to shoot. But I have to say this was a dream family to photograph. They were all so fun and outgoing and we all just had an AWESOME time. You might recognize some of them from a previous session I did this year, and now I have had the pleasure to meet the extended family too. Check out our session at Howarth Park in Santa Rosa!

I know I have said it a thousand times but “You are the BEST!” I LOVE you.
We have all heard that, right? A picture is worth a thousand words, but most of us would probably agree a picture is truly priceless. This family called me about 3 weeks ago and recited to me one of my biggest fears. In a world of technology and where we depend on computers so much, they had LOST ALL…ALL their photos and did not have any back up plan for storing them. One word- Heartbreaking. As I was listening to their story, I couldn’t help but think back to when I was a young girl and our house burned down, and all was lost. But do you know what I miss most still to this day? The photos. The photos were the most important thing that will never be replaced. I am so happy I could be the one to get on record some photos for this wonderful family, especially before their baby girl is all grown up.
This was the VERY last shot of the day and I just LOVE everything about it….

What a privilege it was to be apart of this intimate wedding at the beautiful John Ash. It was just Clint, Sarah, and their proud parents. Clint is in the reserves and Sarah is a school teacher and together they make the most in love couple I have seen in while. They met two years ago at the local junior college and Clint knew the moment they met that she was going to be the women he would marry someday. One of things that I love about my job(if you can even call it that) is being a part of these once in a lifetime moments. Thank you Clint and Sarah for letting me be there to witness your special day.

This mommy to me was just absolutely breathtaking, not to mention an extremely kind, sweet, and elegant women. I also just have to share that Harmony’s husband Rich got his wife this session and the future newborn session as a Valentines day gift…so take some notes out there husbands and daddy’s to be!! What a great idea for a gift, right? Thanks Harmony and Rich for going along with some of my silly and fun ideas. I absolutely can not wait to meet the little one and even more..see if it is a BOY or GIRL!! How exciting for such an incredible couple.
