These two were just so fun to do an engagement session with. They are like kids in a candy store planning for their wedding and just CAN NOT WAIT to be married. They don’t have to wait long, because June 5th is right around the corner. You will see more them in the not too distant future. Enjoy the preview you two love birds!

My newborn parents have been the most rested and wide-eyed that I have seen for a while. Baby Austin was just as sweet as can be and his parents were literally some of the nicest human beings I have ever met and had the pleasure of working with. I did Harmony’s maternity session not too long ago and then told them to put me on speed dial for when their little one arrived, and they did just that. Austin was less than a week old when they opened up their home for me. Remember what I said about how nice Harmony and Rich were….they had flowers for me when I arrived. Shouldn’t I be the one bringing flowers to the new parents?? I hope I get to continue to capture this adorable family as they grow up together! I got to try out a few new props too, so this was an awesome session. Check it out….

This couple was super sweet and down to earth. You could tell how much they love each other when their eyes met, and that their beauty started on the inside and carried to the surface. Natalie owns the most gorgeous boutique that I wandered into one day to buy-borrow-rent some things for future sessions, and am so happy she picked me to photograph her wedding in August! Don’t you just love spring for all the luscious green everywhere?? I DO!! Enjoy….

I just have to share something that’s been on my mind lately. I feel like in this super competitive world of photography, there needs to be more thank you’s. Every photography started out wanting to learn and know more about their craft, and looking for someone to answer their questions and help. We all have our little secret ways of editing, and ways of using our camera, and some seasoned photographers(and thank GOD for them) are willing to share to make others become better. So I guess that is my long lead in to wanting to thank Michelle Kane, who has been such a wonderful mentor and sincere friend to me. I only met her five months ago, when I found her blog post about a preschool session(I was about to photograph 60 preschoolers)and I contacted her…. and the rest is history. Her Wine Country Workshop is going to be a smashing success here in Sonoma County, and I do not tell her thank you enough for all that she has done for me professionally and personally! You ROCK Michelle, and I can not wait until June to see you again!

I had a blast working with this photogenic senior from Ukiah! Lydia is off to UC Davis in the fall, and she has such an incredible future in front of her. My impression after spending some time with Lydia is that her work ethic could put me to shame on and off the soccer field. She seriously was such a natural in front of the camera, and a true sweet soul. Not to be too superficial or anything, but her hair was to DIE for, and that is her NATURAL color too!(jealous yet?) Good luck Lydia and keep in touch!
