Sweet Daphne is ONE!!!! This was my favorite cake smash shoot, I mean how cute is that cake? And the tutu? Her sweet momma always goes all out for her sessions and those gold balloons were a hit.
once in a lifetime we may find our one true love… this is just the case for Katie & Tony. they are both successful, independent and amazing individuals but together they truly shine. from the moment Katie contacted me we hit it off. let’s just put it this way, her name is my phone is Cute Katie!
a beach about 1.5 hours south of me named Yachats holds a special place for them and was the perfect location for their shoot. the weather was amazing but oh my… the wind was something else. as you can see though, the wind didn’t bother them any because they rocked it.
we chatted about how they met, their jobs and family, but the whole time i wasn’t really focusing on the conversation. why? because their connection was unlike anything i’ve ever seen. i was in awe of how much they complimented one another. the way Tony watched her when she was laughing and helped hold the hair out of her face was with such love and tenderness.
moments like these are why i love my job. being able to capture the moments that take our breath away… amazing!
this winter day was oh so cold… our lips may have turned a shade of blue but these images were so worth it. i met Lauren a couple of years ago, she’s a rock star school counselor at my kids high school. her heart is so full of love for all the students she works with on a daily basis inside and outside of school. there was no doubt she was made to be a mother.
little miss Hadley was due in 3 weeks so we felt we had plenty of time. we chose this day, the only day that had no rain in weeks. lucky for us… huh? totally! luck was on our side for sure as sweet little Hadley came 3 days later… yes 3 days!
while shooting i told Lauren about another client of mine who went into labor pretty much during our shoot. i could tell her belly was dropping during our 2 hrs of shooting and at 1am i woke up to a picture of her beautiful baby. what? yes, that really did happen! cross my heart.
hope you love these photos as much as i do…
almost forgot to mention… these are edited with my new preset collection coming soon.
“WOW”…. what a FUN senior session. Jayda, along with her mom and grandma came to the Coast for her senior experience and ROCKED it! We had so much fun shooting, laughing and chasing the light.
Who doesn’t just melt when you see a 2 year old in lumberjack clothing? Seriously, check out those suspenders! He’s ridiculously cute.
But don’t let that cute attire fool you, he was not going to let me catch that smirky smile easily. This is what happens when his mother is a photographer… bonus… my second shooter. Over the last 2 years it’s been a pleasure watching him grow, capturing his special moments and having so much fun with creative shot ideas. Now he’s turning “2”!
