this winter day was oh so cold… our lips may have turned a shade of blue but these images were so worth it. i met Lauren a couple of years ago, she’s a rock star school counselor at my kids high school. her heart is so full of love for all the students she works with on a daily basis inside and outside of school. there was no doubt she was made to be a mother.
little miss Hadley was due in 3 weeks so we felt we had plenty of time. we chose this day, the only day that had no rain in weeks. lucky for us… huh? totally! luck was on our side for sure as sweet little Hadley came 3 days later… yes 3 days!
while shooting i told Lauren about another client of mine who went into labor pretty much during our shoot. i could tell her belly was dropping during our 2 hrs of shooting and at 1am i woke up to a picture of her beautiful baby. what? yes, that really did happen! cross my heart.
hope you love these photos as much as i do…
almost forgot to mention… these are edited with my new preset collection coming soon.
It’s always a wonderful feeling when I have a potential client referred my way. Kiera and I decided to meet at Starbuck one day after work. (for this coffee addict it was a bonus, two coffees in one day!) We talked all about the plans for their wedding at the beautiful East Fork Country Estate; from their colors to how many bridesmaids/groomsmen they would be having.
Next up engagement session time. Of course living on the Oregon Coast we wanted to hit the beach for some beautiful sunset photos, however, our timing wasn’t the best with the holidays and winter storms. When the day finally came we had a morning full of sunshine. Then the coast decided to share some clouds and sprinkles, but nope that didn’t stop us! After I delivered their gallery, Keira and I chatted about how excited we both were for their wedding day.
